We were asked to get into our groups and to research what is the best social media to use to promote a small media company.
Our group is called H.I.M what stands for Hyper Interactive Media and we made a Twitter account for our group so that we could ask other small media companies what social media other than Twitter they use to promote there company, some replied and they said that twitter was the best one to use but they use others like Facebook.
I went onto Facebook and asked people what social media other than Facebook that they use, what social media they think is the best and if they were to make a small company what social media they would use to promote their company, the replies i got said that most of them only use Facebook but other social medias they use are Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat and others, but the two they thought was the best to promote a company were Facebook and Twitter because they were the easiest to use and most companies use those social medias to promote their companies.
Others made questionnaires and went around the college asking people the questions and getting their answers and opinions on the social medias, a lot of the answers were Twitter and Facebook again.
Then we had to create a power point showing all of our findings and then we chose the social medias we would use for our company, we chose to use Twitter and Facebook because a lot of people started their companies on Twitter because they can contact customers and other companies easily, and we’ll use Facebook because it is the most popular of all the social medias.
